How we handle your information
What the Wentworth Supporters Group collects, how it is stored, and how to contact us.
Who holds your data
Everything you share on this site is held by the Wentworth Supporters Group, an independent volunteer group of One Nation supporters in the Wentworth electorate. Questions, requests, or concerns: hello@wentworthsupporters.au.
Your details are held securely by the Wentworth Supporters Group. They are not handed to One Nation. There is no consent form that changes that. If you want to join Pauline Hanson's One Nation, you do that on the party's own website.
What each part of the site collects
The interest forms (/get-involved): your name, a contact detail, an optional suburb or postcode, the teams you tick, an optional membership status, and any note you add.
The supporters survey: what you choose to share in the conversation: your profile, your priorities, and, only where you expressly agree at the moment it is asked, your street address or story details. Nothing sensitive is collected without its own consent step.
Sign-in: your email or mobile number and the one-time codes we send to confirm it is you.
Cookies: a single remember-me sign-in cookie so returning members skip the email round-trip. No advertising cookies.
Public AI information assistant
The assistant on the homepage and /ask does not require your name or contact details. Your question and relevant public sources are sent to Anthropic to generate an answer. Please do not include personal or sensitive information.
We do not save questions or answers in supporter records or application chat logs. They remain in page memory until you leave or reload. Public information pages are excluded from our analytics and session recording.
To limit abuse, we keep request counts under a daily keyed hash of your IP address. These counters contain no question text and are cleaned up after two days when the service next receives a request.
Anthropic and our hosting providers process requests and may retain operational or safety data under their own terms, including outside Australia. Anthropic privacy information. Contact us for questions about processing or deletion.
How it is stored
Contact details are encrypted at rest, identifiers used for spam protection are hashed, and access is limited to the group’s three coordinators. We use trusted service providers to run the site: Resend (email delivery), ClickSend (SMS), Supabase (secure hosting of the database), and PostHog (privacy-respecting usage analytics). Some providers may process data outside Australia to deliver messages.
Access, correction, deletion, and retention
We keep your information only while it is useful for the group’s volunteer work. You can ask at any time to see what we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted. Email hello@wentworthsupporters.au and we will sort it out promptly.
