Are you a One Nation member? (optional)

Optional. Whether you are a member stays with this group. It is not handed to One Nation.

Anything you want us to know?

Why bother?

Most people never get closer to politics than a ballot paper. A group like ours is the exception: a small team where your ideas can be adopted the same week you raise them.

You will not be handed a script. Each team shapes how its own patch runs — that is the point of them.

And you will be doing it alongside neighbours who care about the same things you do. That is rarer than it should be.

Wentworth is about 31 square kilometres – one of the smallest electorates in Australia. A small organised group, in a seat this walkable, punches above its weight.

Most of these roles take an hour or two a week. When an election is called it becomes all hands on deck — and you will want to have been part of it by then.

Not sure? Have a go. Ease in — take a small job, see how it fits, step up or step back as life allows. Registering interest is a conversation, not a contract.
